Poyarkov, Jr.到昆明动物所交流，并作了题为Herpetofauna of Indochina: new discoveries and biogeographic patterns的学术报告。　　Nikolay A. Poyarkov, Jr.长期活跃在东南亚地区，主要从事两栖爬行动物物种分类、区系及多样性演化等相关研究。近几年来，大量的新物种在东南亚地区被报道，Nikolay A. Poyarkov, jr.结合自己在东南亚地区多年的研究，为大家系统讲述了该地区被低估的多样性、影响因素及面临的保护和挑战。报告深入浅出，让现场师生受益匪浅。　　报告结束后，现场师生与Nikolay A. Poyarkov, jr.进行了深入地交流，并对双方正在进行的多个国际合作项目进行了沟通和讨论。
