　　Prof FENG Si-Shen graduated with a 6-year diploma from Peking University. He obtained his Master Degree from Tsinghua University in 1981 and PhD from Columbia University in 1988. He completed his postdoctoral training in Columbia University School of Physicians & Surgeons and then worked as a research scientist in Department of Biochemistry, Cellular & Molecular Biology, Northwestern University. He joined National University of Singapore Sep 1996. His research interests include cellular and molecular biomechanics, biomembranes,  molecular biomaterials, chemotherapeutic engineering, cancer nanotechnology and nanomedicine. Prof Feng is an Associated Editor of Biomaterials (JIF=8.312) and Nanomedicine (JIF=5.824). He is also involved in the editorial board of other journals such as Nanomedicine-NBM and Intl J Nanomedicine, J Biomedical Nanotechnology, etc. He has been ranked by SCI Author Analysis as #1 in the three emerging areas of Nanomedicine, Cancer Nanotechnology and Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology respectively.
