　　嘉宾介绍：Prof. Paul J. Hertzog is the Director of the Centre for Innate Immunity and Infectious Disease, deputy Director of the monash Institute of medical research and an NHMRC Senior Principal Research Fellow. Prof. Hertzog's research interests include molecular mechanisms involved in regulating immune responses in infection, inflammation and cancer. There is a particular focus on signaling by cytokines such as interferons and more recently the toll-like receptors the sensors of infection and other stresses.
