　　Please convey our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Prof.Yeh.

　　I vividly remember when he was visiting GFDL, we had so many stimulating conversations.

　　He was one of the great leaders of our field who made numerous significant contributions.

　　I still remember one of his lectures on world-wide sudden climate shifts.

　　His passing away is not only a great loss to the Chinese community, but to the entire world community.
