Dear Prof. Wu,

　　I am very sorry for hearing the sad news about the passing away of Prof. Ye Duzheng. We are losing an eminent teacher and a great friend. The science community of China and even the world is suffering from a huge loss. Prof. Ye was just leaving us, but his spirit will be shining forever. With the solid foundation built by Prof. Ye, with the much encouragement by Prof. Ye, undoubtedly the atmospheric sciences of China will grow much stronger in the near future.
